SOCCER

GO AFTER YOUR GOALS!

Goal: Give our athletes the opportunity to have fun experiencing and participating in two levels of youth soccer competition: regular and unified.

*Skill assessment: Any player within any of the leagues can come to the skills assessment. Player must be able to meet requirements shown below in the unified section.

Our games are approximately one hour long including water breaks and half time. At this time, all games are played “indoors” on Saturday mornings at The FieldHouse USA located as 6155 Sports Village Road Frisco Texas 75033. Unified I and II, per direction of the team coaches will have the opportunity to have practices.

We try to limit each team from 8-12 players, but we will limit the number of players on the field to 6 per team.

Community groups and volunteers serve as Buddies to assist the players on two of our three soccer divisions. (see details below)

LEAGUE INFORMATION

All players in this league are assigned a buddy. There is no experience necessary to play in this league. This is a good choice for those individuals who have never played a team sport before or who are new to the sport.

This is our most competitive division. Kids who play in this group are typically a little older (middle school/high school) however we do also have elementary school kids in U1. There are no buddies on the field at all during Unified I games. Athletes in Unified 1 have a good understanding of the game and are able to follow directions with minimal assistance.

This is our intermediate division. Children are basically ready for the U2 league once they no longer need an individual buddy. Kids who play in this league are still learning the rules of the game but they have a basic understanding of the sport. This is a great place for those kids who still need assistance on the field but don’t need the constant support of a 1:1 buddy. The U2 league also plays on a reduced size field and the emphasis is on continuing to develop player skills.

As the name implies, all of our athletes in wheelchairs, walkers, or with limited mobility play in this division. Depending on the sport, the field size is someetimes reduced and all players are assigned a buddy. No prior experience is necessary.
